ABOUT RIYEVOLT

Why RiyeVolt exists

Electric mobility can feel overwhelming. RiyeVolt exists to make it easier to understand, trust, and use, through the lens of product design and real-world experience.

Meet Riye

A product designer exploring EVs in public.

Aderiye Oluwadamilare Akangbe is a product designer who started asking uncomfortable questions about EVs: why is it so hard to know what an EV is actually like to own? Why do so many EV websites feel more confident than the product they’re selling?

RiyeVolt is the platform that grew from those questions. It’s not a finished media company. It’s a serious project developed gradually, honest about where it is in the journey.

What makes RiyeVolt different

The platform is the perspective.

We look beyond the specification sheet to explore how electric mobility actually works for real people

Experience over specs

Experience over specs

Range, price, and acceleration are table stakes. RiyeVolt focuses on whether the whole ownership experience actually works for a real person.

Clarity over jargon

Clarity over jargon

kWh, AC, DC, BEV, PHEV:  EV language creates barriers. RiyeVolt translates the terminology without dumbing it down.

Trust over hype

Trust over hype

Every piece of content is clearly labelled by source type. Concept review is not the same as a hands-on test. That distinction matters.

Human context over numbers

Human context over numbers

A car’s battery capacity tells you nothing about how confident you’ll feel on a 200-mile motorway trip. People matter more than specs.

Vision

Where RiyeVolt is going.

A long-term roadmap: honest about where the platform is today, and deliberate about where it’s heading.

Phase 01
Media

A credible content platform with consistent reviews, breakdowns, and explainers that build search presence and reader trust.

Phase 02
Research

Original reports, surveys, and owner interviews that give RiyeVolt a distinct voice on EV adoption, especially in emerging markets.

Phase 03
Reviews

Hands-on access to EVs, apps, and charging infrastructure — building credibility through first-hand testing, not just desk research.

Phase 04
Advisory

UX audits, research services, and advisory work with EV brands who want honest product feedback from a design perspective.

Electric mobility is still being designed.
